If you see it from a scientist’s or an astrologer’s perspective, you will be able to see how the planet Earth lies on the magnetic fields that are invisible to the human naked eye but are a crucial element of our planet. The outer core of our planet is composed of the magnetic nickel-iron alloy. The metal leads to an electric current that forms a magnetic field. These fields work as the shelter that preserves our planet as well as the satellites orbiting Earth.

Now, in order to understand these magnetic fields and how they work, scientists employ the GIS (geographic information system) – a technology that gives researchers a clear picture of the dynamic forces, which cannot be seen, observed, or tracked from Earth. Anything located around, below, and above the earth can only be seen and monitored with the help of the GIS and remote sensor tools. The scientists are relying on the GIS tools to measure these magnetic fields and changes that cannot be observed manually.

Use of GIS in Astrology

The use of GIS in the measurement of magnetic fields has become more prominent in today’s world since geomagnetic swings have become quite popular lately. And, a lot of such fluctuations in the magnetic fields are reported. NASA and other astrology research groups rely mainly on the GIS and GPS to collect detailed information about the space, its components, and changes in the weather.

For any astrology research, the remote sensors on the satellites are used to give analysts a better picture of the planets and components around our planet. It has now become possible for these scientists to collect 3D photos of the planet for better mapping and analysis of Earth. Any kind of research that involves magnetic fields or astrology is conducted through the geographic information system.

Why it is Needed to Measure Magnetic Fields?

Since the magnetic fields never stop moving, it has caused a significant difference between the magnetic north and geography. As this difference continues to grow, the traditional navigation systems have proven quite inaccurate in generating the best results for a deeper analysis. This generation is totally reliant on the GPS, not only for the study of astrology but for everyday applications. The US Air Force suggests that over 4 billion in the world are already relying on the GIS and GPS. From transactions in the financial markets to guiding people through complex roads with a smooth navigation system, the geographic information system has become a crucial element in controlling regular activities.

One of the reasons why scientists have started implementing GIS in astrology is the irregular and unpredictable movements of the magnetic fields. It has caused tension among scientists since it is getting harder and harder for researchers to get accurate predictions of Earth. That’s where the GIS technology helps scientists get proper mapping and analysis of the universe. So, this constant change in the magnetic field is regular monitoring so that researchers can keep tabs on the fluctuations in the patterns of movement.
